R.I.P CHARLIE

On Thursday, December 3rd 2009, my father in law Charlie passed away. He was in ICU for two months with Pnemonia and a septic infection. He was also diagnosed with ARDS (Adult Respitory Distress Syndrome), he was 53 years old. He will be greatly missed, he was a father figure to me and was kind enough to give me his daughters hand in marriage. Here is a little poem for you Charlie, I will miss you and the times we had, but get your darts ready, because when my number is pulled.....GAME ON!.

"Charles Carter, beloved husband and father
a brother, now with his father and mother
time so swift everyone will miss
the smiles we get with your laugh and grin
so sudden a life taken from family
it can't be reality but here he is finally
his resting place, a breath of fresh air
all your stress is gone heaven beware
you have in your kingdom an angel from earth
that you kindly let us have for 53 years from birth
we thank you for the moments you've given and shared
hopefully you'll be there for us when we go up there
i will always remember what you've taught, i have learned
i will take care of your daughter you need not be concerned
your grandchildren will hear about you, you will not be forgotten
while your up in heaven with god and his only son begotten

Princess

This is our dog "Princess", she is almost two years old and we have had her since she was about 8 months. We rescued her from a lady that rescued her ONE day before she was to be put to sleep. We are so amazed nobody wanted her, she is the most fun dog i've ever had. She is GREAT with the kids, potty trained and a burst of energy. OK...so she licks alot....ALOT ALOT! but....maybe she just loves to be loved. From what we understand, she is a mix of chiuauha and miniture sheltie...if anyone sees another dog breed in her, please feel free to comment.

BACK TO WORK

OK! so today is gonna be first day back since TUESDAY!...hahahhaha....like i said in my last post, the movie industry is weird.....hopefully this was just a one day forced vacation "because i work so hard" ;) and i can coast through the rest of the year. I know we are still working on Avatar and the next BIG release is gonna be in February 2010 Shutter Island....other than that I think its gonna be a slow end of year. But, as long as i'm working, it could be dead as can be if they are still giving me a paycheck, i will forgive them...lol. Its Thursday and I just received my paycheck for last week $1,903.22....i am soooo glad i worked thanksgiving and i put in 14 hours on Sunday which will be on my next paycheck so if everything works out like it should...than i should be able to give the family a great christmas!, i'm not rushing off to buy gifts just yet I want to see how work is first.

OUT OF WORK

The movie industry is funny....last week i had to work thanksgiving because we were SO busy. I even worked 14 hours on Sunday. So today, i come into work and i am "laid off" (lay off isn't permanent, just until work picks up) the first time in 2 years. The word is it will only be for about 3 days to a week, so I am going to take advantage of this forced time off and go through the house...i mean gut it, and i will spend much needed time with my wife and kids. I am a little stressed because I do not know when i will be called back, it could be up to as much as a couple months, i doubt it but there is always a possibility. I am still going to have a great christmas for my kids, even though we won't be taking them to disneyland now. I will update as soon as I hear anymore news or get called back. I am staying positive, and will keep my head up..even though i'm scared to death on the inside.

Avatar Movie Review

This is a good movie, it has alot of CG(computer graphics) and the story line is predictable. I wouldn't recommed seeing it in 3D, with all the motion and colors, it might hurt your eyes. Its a common Love/Adventure story that women will love for emotion and men will love for the battle scenes. It releases in theatres December 18th, 2009.

This is where my mind goes on days I am mindless.
