The End

So here I am contemplating the end
the end of today and tomorrow soon begins
the fire that burns our soul soon passes
the wind that follows spreads our ashes
the plague of a 1000 diseases rids the earth
for tonight consumes the old and new births
when the smoke lays flat and the fog dies down
no vision will remain nor lies any sound
the rath of hell rises a new world commences
where demons and angels finish off the defenseless
where am i when this dark night turns to light
i'm on the field of battle leading the fight
which side did i choose, i've asked that myself
i'm on the side of good when good goes to hell..
